First install SQL Server (MSDE
supported), IIS, Dotnet framework (restart computer needed) in turn successfully;
Second install AIS, then you can run it
immediately. But you need play "toy bricks" to configure it
in order to satisfy your own
needs and work flow.
- Can Affal Inventory
System work on Windows XP?
Sure, AIS is Windows NT/2000
Professional, Server/XP/2003 compatible, and it can
support Windows98/Me client even Linux or Unix.
- I have configured SMTP
service, why I can't send
emails?
You must
confirm the computer with SMTP service is online and
configured correctly, such as "SMTP Relay", "SMTP IP Filter"
and so on.
- Can I install Affal
Inventory System
on more than one computer or on one computer with many
client users?
If you purchased single user license, you can only
install it on one computer with one user. Otherwise you should purchase
multi-user license with a great discount to install it on
more than one computer or to be used by many users.
- I have installed
Affal Inventory System
1.5, how
to upgrade to 1.7?
If you have purchased 1.5, you can upgrade to version 1.7
freely. You needn't uninstall version 1.5. Close AIS if
it's running, then use update package to replace same name
files. If what you are using is trial version, you
need uninstall it from "control panel"-->"Add Remove
